Eagles are uncommon birds. Throughout history, the eagle has been seen as a symbol of great strength, hope, leadership, and vision. Throughout history, many great empires have embraced it as a symbol.

The characteristics of an eagle can also be seen as valuable traits for effective leadership.

Here are seven characteristics of eagles and their significance for leadership.

  1. Excellent Vision: Eagles’ keen eyesight enables them to identify targets at a considerable distance. Likewise, leaders need to be able to understand the broad picture and have a clear vision. They should be able to create goals, set a common strategy, and encourage people to push themselves towards a common vision.
  2. Confidence: Eagles possess confidence and this is vital to leadership. You or the leader must have confidence in their own abilities, their judgment, and their teammates. It inspires competence and motivates others to take the initiative.

According to Nicolas Reyes, there are three elements that support self-confidence and allow it to skyrocket so that your talents can take you far:

  • recognizing them,
  • believing in them and
  • being in the right pot,

so that they develop their full potential. If these three elements are not present, self-confidence will not grow vigorously and without limits.

To be focused like an eagle means to have intense and unbroken concentration on a specific goal or target. Being focused like an eagle includes clarity, concentration, resilience, prioritizing skills, single-mindedness, excellent time management, attention to detail, and immersion in one’s activity. .
